Our main destinations are Koh Tan and Koh Mudsum, two islands located on the south of Koh Samui. Away from the mainstream tourist attractions, we aim to provide quality snorkeling experience and unique beach picnic experience in a secluded beach location. These tours are private, we collect you in our modern airconditioned transportation to our peir where your english speaking guide welcomes you aboard your private longtail boat sailed by our experienced boat captain. An upgrade to speedboat is more than welcome at an extra cost. We also offer at no extra charge a visit to the tame island pigs at the end of your picnic experience.
Another luxury in our itinerary is the unrushed resort collection of our guests giving time to enjoy the lovely breakfast at your resorts – this means no need to get up so early! And on our guests’ return, we make sure to get you back for a dip in the pool whilst sipping their favorite cocktails during happy hour! It leaves our guests relaxed and succumbed to a full day in leisure.
The highlight of the day is the delicious freshly cooked (in front of you by your personal picnic butler) Thai beach picnic. You will relax back on your picnic mat and cushions enjoying a beverage of your choice while your picnic butler prepares for you fresh authentic Thai dishes, exotic fruits and handcrafted local desserts, along with chilled botted of white wine and/or beer, bottled water and soft drinks, this is truely a memorable tour for coupless and families alike. We cater for all food allergies and dietary requirements.
Though we set a standard itinerary for the tour, we allow our guests to customize their day. Since each and every tour is private, our guests holds their own time and can spend as long as they want relaxing on the beach, snorkeling, or even lengthen the cruise on their private boat. However, we are also mindful of the tide situation. We take the advise of our boat captain in order to avoid any inconvenience during the tour.

Start/Finish Times
- Pick up from your resort or private villa between 10-10:30 am
- Drop back between 3-4:00 pm you are back at your resort

Behaviour
-Our tour company reserves the right to cancel the tour should extreme tardiness during resort pick up occurs.
-Any illegal drugs are not permitted on board Island Gem Picnic tour and we reserve the right to refuse guests under the influence of the said drugs.
-We work with local Thais and we deem our guests to give the same respect to our colleagues.
-Any damages to our equipment or loss of equipment due to guests’ neglect is chargeable. Fins are charged @ THB 800 and masks and snorkel are charged @ THB 500.
Boats
-Island Gem Picnic operates a boat trip via a traditional long tail boat. There is also an option to upgrade to a speedboat at an extra cost. Please specify this upon reservation.
Payment and Cancellation
-Cancellation on the day due to personal decision is subject to 100% full payment.
-Cancellation due to extreme weather condition and guest cannot rebook to another day, entitles the guests to 100% refund (less bank fees).
-Cancellation made less than 3 days before the trip does not entitle the guests to any refund.
-Our decision to go on the trip is based on the latest weather forecast on the day of the tour. We do not hold any responsibility if there are any changes on the weather pattern during the course of the tour.
-Our boat captain holds long years of experience operating a boat trip. We therefore trust his judgement on the day of the tour if the boat trip should pursue.
Food & Beverage
-Unless specified during reservation, we do not hold any responsibility for any allergy reactions on the day of the tour.
-Cancellation due to personal reasons does not entitle the guests to consume the food & beverage allowed for the tour.
